About

“Pado” in Korean means a wave of water. “Metric” defines performance and measures movement. Just like how waves transmit energy and push forward, Padometric moves forward with impact through smart design thinking and scalable agility.

Susan Yang is a multi-skilled creative director, multidisciplinary designer, and strategic problem-solver with 20 years of industry expertise (8 years of agency-side experience and 12 years as an independent consultant). She successfully manages and executes the end-to-end creative lifecycle for brand and digital experiences, streamlines cross-functional team productivity, and delivers effective and sustainable results.

With every project, Susan gives detailed focus, open-minded collaboration, and effective responsiveness, applying scalable principles and methodologies of design, and leveraging new technologies. Through clear direction and interdisciplinary design, she efficiently helps brands differentiate through high-quality purpose-driven designs and engaging visual storytelling to create meaningful connections. She is passionate about solving complex challenges and is continuously learning and creating through inspired curiosity, experimentation and implementation. Her appreciation for architecture, the arts, science and technology shapes her approach to seeing new possibilities. As a certified Registered Graphic Designer, she believes in the value of design, the professional expertise, and the commitment to the craft.

Outside of the studio, Susan dedicated two decades to competitive and high-performance athletics, training and competing in basketball, softball, and Taekwondo (Kukkiwon-certified black belt). She is actively involved in group fitness programs, enjoys golfing, exploring new places, and mastering the art of Korean cuisine — all that inspire her to stay focused and creative.
